Pope Benedict XVI visits the United Kingdom from the 16th - 19th September
Pope Benedict XVI starts his visit to the United Kingdom attending an audience with HM Queen Elizabeth II at the Palace of Holyrood House situated at the end of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. The Pope travels down to England the next day. Holyrood House was founded as a monastery in 1128 and is the Queen's official residence in Scotland.
A few years ago Paul produced a hugely successful painting, now in a private collection, of much loved, Pope John Paul II.
To celebrate the current Papal visit, as a tribute to the Catholic Church, and in rememberance of Pope John Paul II, we have been asked to consider a making some Limited Edition prints of this image.
