Paul has been surrounded by creativity and eccentricity his entire life – his father an architectural model maker from whom he learnt perspective  – his South African mother a porcelain doll maker and his older sister married into arguably one of the greatest Rock & Roll bands of all time – the Rolling Stones.

He has been painting and drawing since he could hold a pencil.  Learning his craft by studying the styles and techniques of the artists he has admired – Dali to Pasmore, Arcimboldo to the Dutch and Spanish Still Life masters, Michelangelo to Picasso.

Paul’s work encompasses all subjects and he is happy to work on any medium, using his award winning airbrush technique.  He prides himself on the fact that his art is produced by hand and not produced by digital means.   He is a method painter who immerses himself in his subject – enter his studio and it is clear by the music he is playing or the voice he is taking off, who or what his subject is!

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Paul’s diverse projects show his passion, energy and enthusiasm for art.   From huge still life paintings for Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant to  customized guitars for Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Brian May; painting a Boeing 727 aircraft  to award winning artwork on Lambrettas, Paul is known for his unique and significant pieces of art.

A lifelong petrol head, collector of vintage Lambrettas and a singer and bass guitarist in a band, – life has never been “normal”!

Paul’s work is highly acclaimed and can be found in the collections of Sir Michael Caine, Prince Albert of Monaco, Keith Richards and Brian May to name a few.
